The FLYING WING was an early style of coal-burning sidewinder built for the Marshall Steam Fishing Company in 1915 and changed owners many times in her long career. She served for the Admiralty in both World Wars as a mine-sweeper and resumed fishing in 1946. In 1962 she sailed to Belgium to be broken up.
